Sydney Davis, Administrative manager, Reiki PRactitioner Level II
Sydney joined our team in 2020 as the lead administrative professional to run and manage the front desk.
Sydney graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. Mass Communication, Psychology minor from Rochester University. She volunteered regularly in the ER Treatment Center at Beaumont Hospital to serve and gain exposure to the medical environment.
After finishing school, Sydney was recruited by a national organization for graphic design and marketing but a family member who had gotten support from Dr. Roy brought Associates of Integrative Medicine to her attention. Sydney had long been searching for an opportunity to learn more about integrative medicine as her dream is to become a PA/ND and be able to offer patients the best of everything.
After a long interview process, Sydney was hired by Associates of Integrative Medicine to run the front desk and considers it one of the most significant opportunities of her life for mentorship and inspiration. She has been moved by her work with cancer patients and their families and continued her education to become Reiki II certified to be able to join the team this year as a mind-body medicine specialist.
“One of the things that I want to have the biggest impact on is helping to reduce fear and anxiety in this vulnerable patient population. I believe that Reiki is a gentle and beautiful tool to help patients achieve peace and wellness in perhaps a way that they haven’t been able to before,”.
